Baby Lord Knitwear Our dream is to dress newborns in natural yarns that protect their first year of life like a second skin. The expert hands of our knitters transform selected and certified raw materials into birth sets for baby girls and boys, with classic yet timeless lines, meticulously crafted in every small detail, and completely made in Italy. The attention to yarns and the quality of artisanal craftsmanship are present in our garments every day, which are made to last over time and offer lasting protection through the years. Our story began fifty years ago, but little has changed since then: we still work with natural yarns with the same care that is put into the things we love.

The story of Ilfarobimbi began about 10 years ago, thanks to the creativity of Isabella Tedone, now known as Isotta. It all started with Grandma Elisabetta, who passed on to Isotta a love for fabrics; her hands that sensed their purity by touch, and her eyes filled with those colors she already imagined being worn, turned that love first into passion, then into a dream, and finally into reality.

Passion and Tradition Made in Italy From the creative spirit and passion of Grandma Marisa, our company was born in 1965. What began as a small workshop in Brianza, under her expert guidance, has become a center of excellence in children's clothing production. Although many things have changed, the passion for style, the promotion of Made in Italy, and the anticipation of trends with a focus on quality have remained the strengths of our company. Participation in important events, such as the 1966 Comis and later Pitti Bimbo, has made us known and allowed our products to spread to the best stores throughout Italy.
Designer Rosaria Marrali, creator and founder of Scaldacuore, was only 10 years old when she knitted her first wool cardigan for the birth of her little sister. One day, she saw her mother using a manual Singer loom to make a sweater for her brother. She was so fascinated that she felt compelled to create something of her own and soon completed her first machine-knit garment. She hand-embroidered the edges using a technique called “punto gambero” and used three mother-of-pearl buttons for the front closure, details that made her first piece unique: a simple yet very refined Scaldacuore, which later became the name of her brand, founded in 1995. Rosaria Marrali did not aim to make her name known to everyone; she wanted people to experience what she felt when dressing her children in garments made with her own hands: the joy of seeing her children dressed with taste and, above all, the assurance of the quality of the raw materials used. Her production, her Scaldacuore brand, her company, had to be synonymous with quality, refinement, uniqueness, and above all, maternal warmth. Today, decades later, that legacy remains etched in the company’s mission and is carried forward entirely in Italy, with eco-sustainable raw materials, traditional processing techniques, specialized labor, creativity, and an inimitable style.
